A beautiful original antique police whistle by J. Hudson Co. of Birmingham, England, makers of the iconic Metropolitan Police whistles.
This solid metal whistle dates to the late 19th to early 20th century, a period when these were standard issue for British police and military personnel. Hudson is widely regarded as the most collectible and historically significant whistle manufacturer of the era.
The piece features a classic cylindrical form with a large loop for lanyard attachment and retains its authentic aged patina. It remains in excellent structural condition and presents wonderfully as both a collectible and display object.
