Hello, and Welcome to my world of treasures! I have a love for Vintage Collectibles, Repurpose, Upcycle, DIY, Handmade, Restyle, Handcrafted items, and breathing life into once loved treasures. Vintage Collectibles are usually offered as found. Usually a light dusting, or gentle wash is done to them. I also offer items that are repurposed, restyled, upcycled inspirations, and sometimes pieces are united making something unique and beautiful to adorn your home. Maybe sometimes given as a gift for someone special too.
I enjoy my time with Thrifting, Yard Sales, Estate Sales, Junking, Curb Shopping, and some places I maybe shouldn’t mention (LOL) Mostly I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. I hate to see things sitting around collecting dust, or being thrown away. So many possibilities for items that are found. Unfortunately, I don’t have the room for all of these precious treasures.
I do not claim to be an expert. I offer what I’ve learned from research, sometimes a collectors book, things learned and shared by others, etc. I enjoy doing online sales, meeting new people, experiences I’ve had along the way, and I’m thrilled to offer found treasures to those who will also enjoy them. I’ve been doing this since 2004 with much enjoyment, and having a bit of a break in between due to family, and some health issues.
LilacsNDreams is based on honesty, a little fun, and of course you finding something to take home with you.
Remember back in time walking into that corner Shoppe on Main Street, and receiving that special “Welcome” It was comforting to receive don’t you agree? I feel you should have some of that comfort with shopping online too. You don’t have to get all “dolled” up to shop within my store. Instead you can come ready to shop within the comfort of your own home. Shorts, barefoot, hair rollers, jammies, and well. . . you know what I mean!
