Primitive example of an articulated tribal figural which is believed to be circa 1940. Designed in 900 silver as was the expectation at that time and in that region, this brooch has wonderful patina, which has been left intact as many collectors prefer. Aztec? Incan? Mayan? Peruvian? The CBO (Chief Bitchin Officer) is not sure, but in any case, does know that this is a wonderful articulated figural. 2 1/4" long x 1" wide. Vintage jewelry is rarely perfect.
