VINTAGE ART DECO BEADED CLUTCH / BACK LOOP HANDLED ENVELOPE HANDBAG IN SILVER, BEIGE, WHITE + CREAM GEOMETRIC PATTERNED SEED + BUGLE BEADS - POINTED TOP FLAP - SILK MOIRE LINED - ORIGINAL LABEL - MADE IN BELGIUM This vintage beaded envelope purse consists of glass seed and bugle beads of silver, beige, white and cream colors. All are arranged in an intricate pattern of stylized geometric Art Deco designs, all in a continuous wrap-around pattern, and covers both the front and back with fluid, almost liquid beaded fabric. This period pattern is an inspired geometric pattern of angles and curves. This purse / handbag is a soft structure construction with pleated gusset sides, and an attached back loop handle, for ease in holding in your hand. It has a pointed fold-over top flap with a snap closure. This purse opens to reveal the moire patterned silk lined interior. The silk lining is a off-white colored silk moire taffeta fabric, and has a open pocket at the interior back. This bag is marked with a woven fabric label, which reads: “MADE IN BELGIUM”. In good vintage condition, with light signs of wear and light staining at the bottom of the interior. Please see photographs.
