Uranophane, Malachite Ram Mine, Riverside County, California 1.9 x 1.2 x 1.8 centimeters Ex. Jerry Baird collection A rare specimen of uranophane from California, showing a few yellow needles on a green matrix of malachite. I can't recall having seen the species from California before this specimen. From the collection of noted field collector Jerry Baird, for whom bairdite was named. Jerry added a photo of this specimen to Mindat, #579739.
