Item description

Tiny Tim is an heirloom tomato variety originally cultivated by the University of New Hampshire. Introduced to home gardeners in 1945, this unique dwarf tomato is a cross between the Red Currant and Window Box varieties. Determinate vines grow to around 16 inches in height and produce an incredible number of round, 1 inch fruits that are bright red in color. Flavor is mild, sweet, and slightly acidic. A perfect choice for container gardening, hanging baskets, or even growing on a sunny windowsill! Start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last spring frost, sowing the seeds 1/8 inch deep in a seed flat or cell tray. Use a heat mat to keep the soil temperature between 70 to 75F and a humidity dome to ensure the soil stays moist between watering. Germination should occur within 6 to 8 days. 75 days to maturity.
