Small hand-hammered 14k gold-filled or sterling disks are attached to small hoop earrings. I like to give these a "moonscape" texture - half hammered, the other half smooth (as shown in the photos), but see Options below for other finishes! All metal used is 14k Gold-Filled, or all solid sterling silver; sterling version is stamped STER on the back. The metals used are from recovered/recycled sources (80% minimum recovered content). The disks are about 1/2" in diameter (gold-filled is just slightly smaller), and the hoop is also just about 1/2". Also available with hypo-allergenic ear hoop (or wire) options - see below! Shown in the last photo next to a US dime and a standard #2 pencil eraser, for size comparison. Also if you've bought my hoops before, please note that these hoops are a little different - lighterweight, and with a slightly different clasp mechanism - a little more delicate overall than my typical hoops! OPTIONS: • Texture: Smooth/hammered as shown is the default; for some added texture I also like to apply a brushed texture instead of the smooth half - if you want that option just request it in the 'notes to seller' at checkout. Or if you would like the entire disk hammered, instead of just half-ish, let me know! • I can put these on handmade "french hook" ear wires if you prefer for no extra charge (about 3/4" length for the french hook earwire), just let me know in the notes to seller at checkout. • Oxidized (antiqued) sterling has been blackened before tumbling, and is availalbe upon request. The oxidation varies some naturally and is a medium to dark gray/black.
