Item description

Vision Research Phantom 4K Streaming S890 High Speed Camera Machine CXP-6. Listing is for 1 camera, multiple are available. 9.4 Megapixel 4K (4096x2304) about 800fps, higher frame rates with reduced resolution. 6.75um-sq pixels Global or Rolling Shutter 8 or 12 Bit 8Gb Per Second Throughput Includes power supply, GPIO cable, CXP-6 cables, Nikon mount. This is not a traditional high speed camera. It does not record to RAM, rather it is designed to stream video to a VFG - Virtual Frame Grabber on a computer to capture the 4k video streaming from multiple CXP-6 CoaXpress channels and stitch the streams into a single video. The advantage is that you are no longer limited to capturing videos of only a few seconds, rather you are capable of streaming minutes or possibly hours of high speed video, duration being dependent on the size of the drives (RAID, etc) used. Vision Research recommends Bitflow or Euresys virtual frame grabbers.
