Brand NEW!
Enjoy bright images in most everyday settings with the white Panasonic PT-RZ470UW 3500-Lumen Full HD DLP Projector. Its 3500 lumens of brightness and 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio will work together to overcome light in moderately bright rooms and provide detail in dark areas of the image. It sports a 1920 x 1080 Full HD native resolution for viewing detailed video, pictures, or data. The projector's 1.46 to 2.94:1 throw ratio will allow you to place it between 4.27 and 64.3' from the screen while keeping the image in focus.
The PT-RZ470UW features HDMI, DVI-I, VGA, and RCA composite video inputs to connect to nearly any device. Its analog audio input and output will allow you to pass sound through the projector to your sound system of choice. It is controllable via the included remote control, Ethernet, or RS-232 with various control software options.
Flexible Installation Options
Portrait and 3D Projection Modes
By mounting it with an optional compatible ceiling mount, the image can be displayed in portrait orientation. You can even line up several portrait projection screens vertically, with the edges blended, to create a single, tall screen. 3D projection using active shutter glasses is also possible. A 3D system can be configured by connecting an additional 3D IR transmitter to the projector's 3D SYNC OUT terminal.
Multi-Screen Installations Supported
Edge Blending allows the edges of adjacent screens to be blended and their luminance is controlled. Color Matching is designed to correct for slight variations in the color reproduction range of individual projectors.
Multi-Unit Brightness Control
This function automatically corrects the brightness fluctuations that can occur over time in the individual projectors of a multi-screen system. Up to eight projectors can be controlled by connecting to each other via a hub, and this can be increased to a maximum of 2048 projectors by using Multi Projector Monitoring Control Software.
2x Zoom Lens
For a 120"-diagonal widescreen, the projection distance extends from approximately 12.8' to 25.7'.
Horizontal and Vertical Lens Shift
The lens shift range can accommodate various room sizes and shapes. When lights or ventilation holes are in the way, you can simply relocate the projector to avoid them.
Lens-Centered Design
The lens-centered, symmetrical design helps provide ease of installation by eliminating the need for any special considerations when planning the installation site.
360 Installation
The PT-RZ470UW can be rotated vertically, allowing you to install it at any up/down angle you want, accommodating different installation conditions.
Additional Features
Combination LED/Laser Light Source
With no need to replace the light source or air filter, the PT-RZ470UW is designed to provide enhanced reliability and brightness for up to 20,000 hours of use, reducing the total cost of ownership.
Quick Start, Quick Off
The image appears almost instantly upon powering up, and there is no need for cooling after turning the power off. The power can be turned on immediately after being turned off, and it can be turned on and off as often as you want.
Dust-Resistant Structure with an Airtight Optical Block
The area between the LED/laser, DLP chip, and prism is hermetically sealed to form an airtight structure for the optical block to resist the effects of dust and other particles in the air, enabling use of the projector in a wide range of environments.
Daylight View Basic Helps Ensure Visibility in Bright Rooms
Panasonic's Daylight View Basic technology is designed to produce sharp, easy-to-see images with detail in dark image areas by using a built-in sensor to measure the ambient light and adjusting the halftone color and brightness level according to the surrounding illumination.
30x Drive Switching Prevents Color Breaking
Color breaking is a condition in which incorrect color expression causes color flickering. The PT-RZ470UW uses on/off switching of the LED/laser-combined light source in tandem with a power supply circuit which uses time-division multiplexing with a 30x drive to create images with virtually no color breaking.
Heat Pipe Cooling System Maintains Stable Operation
Laser cooling is performed by releasing the heat to cooling fins, then cooling with a heat pipe cooling system, suppressing temperature rises inside the projector and allowing stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 113F. This cooling system also helps achieve quiet operation of 29 dB, enabling viewers to concentrate on the presentation or movie.
DICOM Simulation Mode
DICOM Simulation Mode is similar to DICOM part 14, a medical imaging standard, helping to reproduce X-ray images with augmented clarity.
Rec. 709 Mode for HDTV Projection
Enhanced color reproduction can be achieved with Rec. 709 Mode for images from an HDTV source.
Multiple Connectivity Options
Interfaces include HDMI and DVI-I inputs. The RS-232C serial terminal has an Emulate function that lets you continue using existing control systems when replacing previous Panasonic models. You can also output audio during Standby mode, a convenient feature when connecting an external audio system through the projector. A closed caption decoder is also built-in.
Remote Monitoring and Control via LAN
The web browser on your computer connected through a LAN lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An email messaging function can also notify you of the projector's overall status. Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is also available to allow you the same levels of monitoring and control on multiple compatible Panasonic projectors from a single computer. The projector's LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink (class 1), an open protocol used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors. You can also control the PT-RZ470UW with Crestron RoomView via its LAN port.
24/7 Operation
Thanks to the LED/laser light source and heat pipe cooling system, the PT-RZ470UW is capable of 24/7 operation.
Scheduling Function
Scheduled operation is possible using the built-in timer function without the need for a computer and software.
Security Features
You can change the default Panasonic start-up logo to any logo you want. A new logo can be uploaded by connecting the projector to a computer through the LAN or serial connection with the Logo Transfer Software. Other security measures include a key lock, security bar, and security password.
49'-Range Remote Control
A unique ID number can be assigned to each projector using the supplied remote control, allowing operation of a specific projector when multiple units are set up at the same location. Three frequently used functions can be assigned to the Function buttons for instant recall.
Eco Management Functions
