After completing the activity, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Summarize efficacy and safety data on the short- and long-term use of the novel lipid-lowering agents alirocumab and evolocumab. 2. List pros and cons related to 6 months versus 12 months of dual antiplatelet therapy following stenting. 3. Describe the role, if any, for clopidogrel in medically managed patients with unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. 4.
