Offered here is this Lovely Wood Veneer Converted Television Armoire. I am unsure of its exact age. It has been converted to hold a television and has had some modifications made to it. There is a shelf platform that has been added to the inside, which would have been used to sit a television on, with a DVD player or something underneath. This piece looks like it was once a drawer, or possibly held a drawer. It is permanently attached to the armoire now. The back has a cut out that has been reattached. There is also a shelf added above the platform. The bottom compartment seems to be in the original condition. The armoire is made of compressed wood, with a lovely two-toned veneer finish. The outside finish is in good condition. It does have some light surface scratches on it from general use. The inside finish is more worn and has scarring from the modifications. This can be seen in the photos. This is some newspaper remnant stuck to the top of the platform, as well as sticker remnants as well. There are paint smudges and deeper scratches on the top of the armoire. The armoire is 58” tall, 35” wide at the top trim, about 33” wide at the center, 21” deep, which includes the trim, the platform is 10” high, with 9” clearance beneath, the shelf is 23” high, with about 12” of clearance between the top of the platform and the bottom of the shelf, and another 12” of clearance between the top of the shelf and the top of the armoire. This is a nice, converted armoire. It has a beautiful outer finish, and appearance, and would be a nice starter piece.
