Back yoke flanged overlay, Princess seams. Basque waist. Button down back. Victorian-style sleeves, w lace trim. Fitted at waist, very full at hem. Side seam pockets. In pristine condition but for one small detail: the bottom button is a replacement. It's from a limited edition line she did back in the 80's using gorgeous French fabrics by Boussac. She also lavished these dresses with upscale heavy cotton lace. Marked a size vintage size 5/6. Remember, vintage runs small. It is snug in the bust on my size 2 dress form, which measures 34 - 25 - 34.5, unpinned. 36% cotton, 14% polyester, 50% rayon, with 100% cotton trim. The color is a medium sage green with brown plaid, and there are subtle apricot slubs. The overall effect is olive green. This French Day Dress / Victorian Prairie style has exceptional details and a unique design. High collar is lace trimmed. Beautiful setting for your own favorite antique brooch (NOT included.) Front yoke overlay is trimmed with various laces. Back yoke flanged overlay is lace trimmed, also. Princess seams for a shapely fit. Basque waist in front comes to a point. Button down back to about hip level. Victorian-style leg o mutton sleeves, with lace trim. Fit and flare skirt - quite full at the hem. Side seam pockets. Unlined. CONDITION In pristine condition but for one small detail: the bottom button was missing, and I have replaced it. It is NOT a perfect match, but it blends well and is inconspicuous. See photos.
