For this old and long out-of-copyright card, we removed the staining and the yellowing of the background, keeping just a bit of the beige to preserve the look of the original paper texture and its antique flavor. We cropped this for modern tastes, featuring Mary?s heart. The original had lots of elaborate, die-cut paper doily fru fru around it, which was a technology they were perfecting, but it doesn?t translate too well into art prints.
