Item description

Here is my book of poems, Full of truths and lies—it’s up to you to decide. But if you can read between the lines, You will know what’s going on in my mind. Now, some of my poems are full of love and hate, And some are about trust and, of course, lust. Some are written with words that even I don’t understand, They come from the heart, and some are just from listening. Not bad for someone who never learned to read, write, or spell. So when you read the words within, try not to judge too hard, ‘Cause sometimes, I am not dealing with a full deck of cards. The words mostly come to me as I lie down in my bed; I have to wake up and write them down to get them out of my head. My mind never seems to rest, it’s like it’s on its own quest. Sometimes there’s more than one voice talking in my head, But it’s okay, they will rest when I am dead. I think I write these words down, So that I will not leave this world without a trace. ‘Cause when I am gone,Who will remember my face?
