Item description

Brand new factory sealed dvd is a Canadian import that has bi-lingual packaging with the synopsis on the back also in French. The domestic dvd is Out Of Print (OOP) and no longer being manufactured. Unassuming small town diner owner and soft-spoken family man Tom Stall foils a robbery, killing the hold-up men in his resturant full of people. He instantly becomes a hero having saved everyone's lives and garners national news attention. This new status brings the unwanted arrival of a trio of men who claim to be from Tom's past. And a very violent past it turns out to be. Cronenberg, with the exceptional help of a great cast, deftly and cleverly playing with the notions of mistaken identity and reality. This is probably his most "normal" film to date, but he still takes a jab at the audience's knowledge of and expectations for action movies and their conventions.
