I was hoping this horror comedy might be differant like Full Moon's 'Head of the Family' but it's just another people stuck in a house (OK it's a castle) threatened by small creatures movie ('Puppetmaster', 'Dolls'...). After a big buildup about eccentric collectors that acquire mutant babies in jars, they're just four damned rod puppet dolls that don't hardly move! HIDEOUS! screams out for some stop-motion animation (where is David Allen when they need him?). Jacqueline Lovell (also in 'Head of the Family') is memorable (again) as the sarcastic assistant to Dr. Lorca. She spends the whole movie in an open leather vest and has a topless scene wearing a gorilla mask. With Mel Johnson Jr. (rival freak collector), Rhonda Griffin (freak broker), Jerry O'Donnel (detective) and Tracie May (dumb blonde).
