Custom Low Profile Ring Open Window / Door Magnet for Ring Alarm Contact Sensor As the name suggests, these are custom created magnet module that are to be used with the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor 2nd Gen. The stock OEM magnets were a little too thick and would bump into my automatic blind as it went down. It was heavier and ultimately fell off it's installed position over time. These are custom low profile magnets that are lighter, are less likely to be hit by blinds coming down, and are more aesthetically flush with the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor. How flush this is depends on your window setup. The stock magnets are about 14mm thick, whereas these are only 8mm thick. Please see photo for installation comparison of OEM vs these custom low profile ones. The item are made of white PETG printed material to endure harsh heat and cold climates. They come with double sided 3M tape hand cut and ready to be installed. Please be aware the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor module is NOT included in this listing.
