Item description

Brass Raj Karega Khalsa Panth Ki Jeet Khanda engraved Kara Singh Kaur Khalsa Bangle Smooth Flat Sikh Bani Kada Bracelet Design: P6 Metal is Brass Main Colour of Kara is Gold (Please note this kara depicts 22 Ct. Gold Kara but is made of BRASS). Colour of Kara will not fade. Writing is laser engraved in black colour and is permanent. Brass Kara do require cleaning and polishing with Brasso Polish occasionally to retain shine and colour. These Kara can also be cleaned by rubbing with kitchen towel.Raj Karega Khalsa, Panth Ki Jeet is written Beautifully on outer circumference of this kara as shown in photos and inside side is plain and smooth - non allergic to skin. Raj Karega Khalsa (Punjabi: ??? ????? ?????; which translates as The Pure will Rule) is a slogan representing the Sikh idea of sovereignty and it is recited at the conclusion of ArdasRaj Karega Khalsa, lit. "the Khalsa shall rule," a phrase expressive of the will of the Sikh people to sovereignty, is part of the anthem which follows the litany or ardas recited at the end of every religious service of the Sikhs. While the ardas is said by an officiant or any Sikh leading the sangat standing and facing Guru Granth Sahib jii, the anthem is recited aloud in unison by everyone present, with responses from the assembly. While not present in early Sikh scripture, it is found in the third dohra, or couplet, of Guru Gobind Singh's Guru Maneyo Granth verse, conferred upon the congregation upon the founding of the Khalsa in 1699.The couplet "Raj Karega Khalsa, Aki Rahe Na Koe. Khuar Hue Sabh Milenge, Bache Saran Jo Hoe" (The pure shall rule, no opponent will remain, those separated will unite and all the devotees shall be saved) is also attested at the end of Bhai Nand Lal Singh's Rehitnama. ??? ?? ???. Panth kee jeet "victory to the panth or 'followers of the righteous path'"Brilliant finish and very decorative. Ideal gift item for loved ones on all occasions.Kara sizes are the measured internal diameter of the kara in centimetres. We are UK based supplier. Items can be collected from our shop in Rochester, Kent, UK. P.S. Colour of item may slightly vary due to camera flash and light conditions. Some Kara may have negligible small black grinding marks or minute hole on the kara joint. This is always seen on all kara from Amritsar as most of the Kara making/shaping work is done by hands with traditional methods. However, this will not affect the quality/look of Kara.
