This 2-drop peyote stitch bracelet design was inspired by the motif on a piece of Art Nouveau wallpaper. I fell in love with the graceful swirls and curves of the stylized flower and tendrils and immediately knew it would work beautifully on a bracelet. For this bracelet, I chose purple and lavender beads. The nearly 2,000 small beads are handwoven (without a loom), 2 beads at a time, using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch. The technique gives the bracelet a lovely drape feel, almost like fabric. Measurements: 1" (2.5cm) wide, 7" (17.8cm) long, including the antiqued silver-tone tube slide clasp. NOTE: all items are shipped with tracking from my studio in the south of France; please allow time for packages to reach destinations outside France.
