Email through for more information. ANNY MK BAILEY (1914-1986): Anny Bailey was a landscape and still life artist who was active in the Southern California area during the 1950s-1980s.. She worked among some of the great artists of the California art scene of the 1960 and 1970s. Her paintings were shown at the prestigious Solan Gallery in Encino California during the 1963, and at the Desert Art Center Gallery in 1968-1969. During this time Anny even owned her own gallery, to show local artists as well as her own works. She was a member of a number of professional art organizations in both Los Angeles and the Palm Springs area. In the late 1970s after moving to the Coachella Valley, she put together a group of California artists she named "Les Artistes Elites", "The Selected Artists". Local artist Anny helped nurture and promote, many of whom went on to successful art careers.
