Item description
? Up for sale: Two Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides) 1-year-old plants, 14–22 inches tall. Each purchase includes two plants.
? Plants will ship bare root while dormant, with roots securely wrapped in wet media and packed in a box. After April, when plants begins to grow, they will be shipped in a container with soil. If plants outgrows its box or mailing tube during the summer, it may be pruned back or bent to ensure safe shipping.
? Populus tremuloides, commonly known as quaking aspen, thrives in USDA Zones 1–7. It is recognized by various names such as quaking asp, golden aspen, mountain aspen, trembling aspen, and white poplar. Mature trees grow to 20–60 feet tall with a 20–30 foot spread, and they boast a fast growth rate of over 24 inches per year under optimal conditions.
? These trees prefer moist, well-drained soil and full sunlight. Renowned for their golden-yellow fall foliage and fluttering leaves, quaking aspens are ideal for groves and landscaping. The tree propagates easily via root suckers and is used in the lumber industry for pulp, paper, furniture, plywood, and wall panels.
? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur during shipment, please contact us the same day with a description and photos of the problem so we can assist promptly.
