This listing is for TWO (2) UNUSED 1980 vintage Bachmann Bros., PONTIAC FIREBIRDs 1:32'ish Slot Car. Not quite as large as a typical 1:32 slot car, the SUPERTRAX Road Racing system was among the last toys issued by Bachmann Brothers., Inc. 1400 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124 USA. Bachmann had been around since 1833! Not known for its performance though, the home series 1:32nd line did not last long. The body is very well done the wheels chassis fit tight look right! Great for display, probably best to look at than to race as it is an odd sort of scale with an odd pickup shoe placement. Only about a dozen different body color variations were made. 3/8" distance between pick up shoes center to center. Bachmann made a Black Firebird, White Firebird, Cranberry Firebird, Red Corvette, White Corvette, Yellow Porsche Carrera an Orange Porsche Carrera. Nicely done bodies were typical of Bachmann products. Although every vehicle has some smudge, rub, nick or age related detail, all are unused. Some tires are very dry or flat. Made in Hong Kong. Red body has loose windshield as shown. Originally powered by a 16.0 VDC. 5.3 VA. power source. Original Set instructions are Shown for Reference. NO Copy included.
