London: Bonham Norton and John Bull, Printers to the King?s most Excellent Majestie, 1619. Early edition rebound black Morocco hardcover w/original leather label affixed to spine, 8vo (8.5x6.125?), Good+-very good, six books bound together as one, and described as follows: 1) Book of Common Prayer; presumed lacking the Common Prayer title page, and beginning with signature C-1 but ending with H-4, very light staining occasionally and sporadically throughout, fore-edge clipped narrow but not effecting text. 2) Old Testament Genealogy; presumed lacking title page, and beginning with A-2 containing a marvelous plate of the fall of Adam and Eve and being followed by full size plates in support of each page of genealogy, some edge loss to pages at the head near the gutter, lacking pp.7-8 (1leaf), pp.11-12 has 1x2? chip missing at foredge effecting a small amount of table, some original mis-pagination, genealogy ends on pp.29-30 (1leaf) and lacks the bottom half of that last page. 3) Old Testament; complete with general title page, occasional family birth/death notations in ink at unpredictable intervals, seems to be centered around the members of the Webb family during the 1700?s. 4) Apocrypha; complete, clean and neat, with some 18th century marginalia of the Webb family. 5) New Testament; New Testament title page present, with fore-edge corners lacking approx. ? chip to head corner, and approx.1x2? chip at the tail of the fore-edge, N.T. text is complete with light soiling, small occasional missing chips (never effecting text), 6) Psalms Set to Meter; note this bound in book is dated 1673, external edges of binding clipped shorter but never effecting the text, some light soiling and age toning. King James was still alive when this was printed ? no written description is adequate ? a very distinctive book and a magnitudinous Capture of Tyme! a magnitudinous Capture of Tyme!
