Item description

Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s fantasy/horror thriller, THE GATE, released in 1987 by New Century/Vista Film Co. and directed by Tibor Takacs, in which some kids, left home alone, accidentally unleash a horde of malevolent demons from a mysterious hole in their suburban backyard. Thie image features "Terry (LOUIS TRIPP, center) realizes a nightmare as the animated corpse of a long-dead workman (CARL KRAINES) crashes through the wall to attack him." It comes from a newspaper archive and is in fine+ condition as shown with the light outline of a small paperclip on the top border. Provenance: The Hearst Los Angeles Herald Examiner newspaper archive.
