Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the classic 1950's musical biopic drama, I'LL CRY TOMORROW, released in 1955 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Daniel Mann. Susan Hayward stars as singer-actress Lillian Roth, whose rise to stardom was nearly destroyed by alcoholism. The cast includes Richard Conte, Eddie Albert, Jo Van Fleet, Don Taylor, Ray Danton, Margo, Virginia Gregg, and Don "Red" Barry. The image features an exterior shot by a stage door entrance and depicts vaudeville-turned-film star Lillian Roth (Susan Hayward) enjoying the cheers of her many fans around her. As indicated in the center of the bottom border, this is card #2 from the set of 8 cards. It is unrestored in fine- condition with a small piece of yellowed Scotch tape on each bottom corner; two small tears in the right border; and random signs of light wear and creases in the borders. There are no pinholes, stains, writing, or other flaws. Susan Hayward earned a "Best Actress in a Leading Role" Academy Award nomination for her performance in this film.
