General Purpose Greenhouse Potting Soil Mix Ideal for seedlings, flowers, hanging baskets, berry and small fruit plants, trees, and vegetables, or any plant that needs moderate moisture to grow strong roots. This is the mix we use in our greenhouses for most plants except those that need wet soil or quick draining soil. 50% - 3/8" minus- Fine Fir Bark, unscreened. 20% - 3/8" minus Natural Cascade Mountain Volcanic Pumice. Unscreened. 15% - Peat Moss 15% - Perlite All natural, relatively light weight. Available in 15 Oz., 10 Cups, 5 Quarts, 3 and 6 Gallon volumes. 15 Ounce quantities are shipped First Class, 10 cup and 5 quart quantities are shipped Priority Mail, 3 and 6 gallon are shipped UPS. - Our 10 cup box will fill 1 1/3 trade gallon containers. - Our 5 Quart box will fill 2.5 trade gallon containers. - Our 3 Gallon box will fill 6 trade gallon containers. - Our 6 Gallon box will fill 12 trade gallon containers. - Our 12 Gallon box will fill 24 trade gallon containers. Our potting mix is hand packed and bagged with a reusable tie for easy storage after you have used part of the bag. If your potting mix dries before using, moisten it to keep dust from forming. Dust from any rock or potting soil product should not be inhaled and can be irritating for people with sensitive lungs.
