OVERVIEW Control your monitor speaker while you're still onstage. Portable and powerful, the Ardent 15M passive monitor speaker offers excellent sound quality and performance characteristics. It uses a Kustom speaker and high-quality compression driver, along with the Precision-Tuned Crossover (PTC) system and Safety Surge protection circuit. A PTC system separately assigns power to the speaker and horn while the Safety Surge circuit protects the compression driver. Ardent monitors have two exclusive features: A Volume Attenuator control that lets performers adjust the overall level of their personal monitor while onstage (accomplished with an internal Multi-Tap Transformer), and an Impedance Switch that?when activated?lets performers use additional stage monitors without the need for another monitor amplifier. Ardent monitors use the same high-impact carpet covering, perforated grill, and special acoustical material as trapezoidal Ardent speaker cabinets.
