Authentic vintage hand signed black and white glossy (slightly sepia) autographed photo of the singer and orchestra leader Van Johnson. The photo depicts Mr. Johnson in a Chesterfield Cigarette advertisement. The inscription reads, "Best Wishes, Vaughn Monroe." Measures 5 x 7. The reverse side is signed by "Ziggy Talent" who was a saxophonist with the Vaughn Monroe Orchestra, suggesting this photo was autographed by both celebrities during a performance Photo measures 5 x 7. We offer a lifetime guarantee this autograph is original and authentic. No COA. Condition: The photo is in very good condition, with some light crinkles. The Monroe autograph is done in pencil and has a slight smear. Comments: Vaughn Wilton Monroe (October 7, 1911 - May 21, 1973) was an American baritone singer, trumpeter and big band leader and actor, most popular in the 1940s and 1950s. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; for recording and radio.
