Item description
Vintage clothbound hardcover first edition of The Art of the Wandjina: Aboriginal Cave Paintings in Kimberley, Western Australia by Ian Crawford, who was the Curator of Anthropology and Archaeology at the Western Australia Museum. This book was published in Australia by Oxford University Press in 1968. It features numerous photos in color and black-and-white, along with line drawings and historical explanations. The book measures approximately 10" tall, 7-3/8" wide, 5/8" thick.
Book is in good overall condition. All pages are intact and clean, without writing or odors. The gutter is exposed between pages 96 and 97. The dust jacket is worn, with creases and some tears that have been repaired with tape. See photos.
