Coro Moonglow Lucite & Rhinestone Pin, Large and 50 similar items

Signed Coro with the pegasus on this beautiful mid-century Moonglow cabochon brooch. This collectible cluster style pin features molded thermoset lucite cabochons in desirable shades of mint green, cream, and brown, accented by sparkling chaton rhinestones all set in a gold tone setting. ?Condition: Excellent vintage condition . the gold tone setting is smooth and bright without wear or oxidation. There is an amazing manufacturers error, one green lucite isn't seated firmly in the setting, it actually has the prong from the rhinestone next to it pushed into the lucite to hold it in place. This was done by the maker while the cabochon was still warm before it fully cured, it is not a flaw! It's an incredible conversation starter from the maker of the piece. The prong was deliberately straightened used to hold the lucite assumedly because it didn't fit.
