220VAC Replacement Motor: EU UK Austr 16-18" and 20 similar items

NOT FOR U.S. MACHINES. This is a brand new replacement motor for the original Lava Simplex 18" Caribbean and 16" Adriatic Wave Machines with the rectangular vessel and black end caps. These are NOT for the cylindrical wave machines or any other wave machine. Until now, no replacement motor was available for these machines. This listing is for one 220VAC motor for use overseas in the EU, UK, Australia and more. Using a transformer with the original 120VAC North American version of the motor will Will allow it to run on 230VAC, but the motor will run slower due to the 50Hz line frequency in these countries, thus "deflating" the wave performance to the point it doesn't really make waves at all. Now, you can have a machine that operates properly in Europe. Installation is simple. The original motor is riveted to the metal frame. The rivets must be drilled out or cut off using wire cutters. Then, just cut the original wires after the connectors and use the supplied blue wire nuts to connect the new motor. The bolt the new motor in ensuring to use the extra nuts between the motor and bracket as shown to center the rotating wheel in the opening of the base housing. Finally, I also recommend adding a small piece of matte Scotch tape where the cam wheel contacts the vessel. Done! You will have a motor that will serve you for years to come.
