Label to the upper corner of the front endpaper, else near fine in red cloth with black embossed titles; in a very good plus dust jacket with light chipping to the lower spine--several pieces of internal cello-tape at spine edges.
Jacket cover art by H.A. Peace (same as the first edition).
Mystery and romance with a hospital setting featuring Max Brand's series character Dr. Kildare.
Source for the 1939 film with Lew Ayers (as Dr. Kildare) and Lionel Barrymore (as Dr. Gillespie).
