Item description
This is a vintage, 1938 Vocalion 78 rpm record with The Champagne Music of Lawrence Welk" orchestrating "Two Sleepy People" from "Thanks for the Memory" with vocals by Jules Herman on Side A and "I Won't Tell a Soul" (I Love You) with vocals by Walter Bloom on side B. The vintage 10" record is shellac, Vocalion # 4435 with both songs being listed as a Fox Trot. Discogs lists the genre as Jazz and Pop with the style as Easy Listening. My family inherited the antique Victrola record more than 40 years ago and it has been keep in a climate controlled environment thru the years. The vintage record seems to be in great shape but I have no way of playing it to see if the 80 plus year old record still works. The original sleeve is missing. It is sold as is. (See photo closeups).
