Swarovski Hedgehog, Small Retired, Bnib and similar items

This prickly little character was part of the In the Summer Meadow Silver Crystal collection for almost 20 years before he was retired. This Hedgehog comes with all the cuteness of a real one minus all the maintenance and salmonella risk, and you get a whole lot of sparkle that you don’t from a real one. At least you shouldn’t; if you have a real one and it is sparkling, seek medical attention ASAP. This makes such a great addition to your collection or as a gift for someone. I know, I know who needs another prick in their life? I assure you; this is one you will not regret - provided you don’t drop it and are careful the way you pick it up because crystal spines are sharp. The clear crystal faceting and the jet eyes combined with the spikes make this a truly remarkable piece. Swarovski clearly has a thing for Hedgehogs, as they have done several variations over the years and this one does not have any whiskers. The Hedgehog usually has around 44 spines on it, which is about 44 more than the last prick in my life had. But I digress, this sparkling, spiny, stunner makes a great gift for the Swarovski collector or animal lover in your life. As well as for the friend who is going through a break-up as a reminder that we all come across some pricks in our life, but they don’t have to scar us and we can turn that pain and the lesson we learned into something beautiful.
