Early reprint.
No printed date, but code "E352-644" to the copyright page, and the "Merlin" series page lists twenty-two titles, including this one.
This early issue not only has a charming color frontispiece, but also bears eighteen full page black-and-white eye attracting and smile evoking scene illustrations by D.R. Sexton.
Upper spine end bumped, minute rub line to the front cover, repaired tear to the margin of one page, else very good in polished sky-blue linen with deep-blue embossed titles to the front cover, and with deep-blue embossed titles and swirling decorations to the spine; lacking a dust jacket.
Octavo; 246 pages.
