Item description
Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1970s color remake of the classic 1920s silent horror film, NOSFERATU THE VAMPYRE, released in the US in 1979 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by Werner Herzog. Count Dracula moves from Transylvania to Wismar, spreading the Black Plague across the land. Only a woman pure of heart can bring an end to his reign of horror.
The image depicts a beautifully-lit interior shot of Lucy Harker (Isabelle Adjani) freely offering herself to Count Dracula (Klaus Kinski) so she can end his reign of terror. It is in very fine condition as shown.
Provenance: The Hearst Herald Examiner newspaper archive.
