This is a softcover book, Delilah by Marcus Goodrich. Originally published in 1941, this is a 1981 Time Reading Program Special Edition from Time Life Books. The novel revolves around the activities of the fictional American destroyer, the USS Delilah, and her crew in and around the Philippines in the time period from 1916 to 1917.
