Rare George Macready (August 29,1899 - July 2,1973) autographed blue album page hand signed in steel-tip fountain pen and inscribed Best Wishes George Macready "Mr. Peyton". This signature has been authenticated by JSA James Spence authentication Certification Number: XX05606 and will come with the Letter of Authenticity you see in the scan. This signature has been framed with an impressive engraved bio plate, vintage photo of Macready as Ballin Mundson in Glida with acid free double matting to an overall size of 22" x 34" and is ready to hang. George Macready was an American stage, film, and television actor often cast in roles as polished villains. Known for Gilda as Ballin Mundson (1946), Paths of Glory (1957), The Green Glove (1952), Detective Story (1951), Seven Day's in May (1964) and Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970). In the 1960s Macready performed for three years in the role of Martin Peyton in ABC's Peyton Place, the first primetime soap opera on American television, with Dorothy Malone in the lead role of Constance Mackenzie.
