Philadelphia Artist - Margery Niblock 60s
SIGNED Woodcut Print " Sheep" A whimsical print sure to put a smile
on anyone's face ... especially a child. The piece measures (including
mat) 14.5 tall inches by 15.5" inches.
Double matted on board with some wear( two small tears on bottom of matting does not affect the print itself) . Please see photos to help with the description.
Margery
has been a printmaker since 1958. Her work is in collections throughout
the United States and abroad. The 1972 UNICEF Engagement Calendar had
one of her woodcuts, "Fantasy," chosen for inclusion, and her work was
used as a cover and feature story in the Today Magazine of the
Philadelphia Inquirer.
