Item description

Hello dear buyer i am offering a piece from my collection Mantel clock with chariot and Cupid , France, circa 1810. Bronze, green marble from the Alps. Dimensions: 35x40x11 cm Signed "Vaillant a Paris" on the dial. Extremely beautiful watch made by the famous bronzier in the service of Napoleon Bonaparte, Andre-Antoine Ravrio (1759-1814) and the watchmaker Louis-Jacques Vaillant (176? - before 1830). Made of gilded and burnished bronze, it represents the God of Love on a small chariot, driven by a horse; the horse is immortalized at the moment when it arches, pushed by the snap of the bridle. Behind Cupid is a swan, an animal associated with the muse of poetry Erato and therefore a reference to love poetry. The marble base is decorated with a bow and arrows and two moths, symbol of Psyche, the young girl with whom Cupid falls in love in the famous myth. Length: 40 Height: 35 Depth: 11 * Ready to ship in 1?3 business days shipping i do ship worldwide by registered mail with traking number shipping time tokes up to 1-3 business days. * return policy I check each product myself and only sell the best quality products anyway If you are not satisfied with it first, please contact me and I will do what pleases you In its original packaging and provided that the item is in its original condition as received Feel free to contact me and I will do everything I can to make you feel good feedback i give immediate positive feedback for buyer as soon as payment is received for the purchase in any case of problem contact me right away leaving feedback so i will do my very best to resolve any problem and to make you satisfied * Thank you for shopping
