Chicago doctor Kate (Sandra Bullock) leaves a note for the next renter of her architectual wonder, a striking glass box lakeside house. Only architect Alex (Keanu Reeves) insists that no one has lived in the rundown property for years before him.
Hmmm, somehow the attractive twosome communicate, like the movie 'Frequency' only via snail mail, across a two-year time gap that they are unaware of. They fall in love, but trying to meet face-to-face is a complicated business. Romantic enough for the girls and sci-fi enough for the guys to be a crowd pleaser.
