Item description
For sale here is a rare vintage Hobo Nickel carved from a 1937
Buffalo Nickel. Please note: I am assuming this item is an original vintage
Hobo Nickel due to the fact that I removed this Hobo Nickel from a coin charm
bracelet that I purchased at an antique store about 20 years ago. The date of
the newest coin on the bracelet was 1940. So, I am assuming that the Hobo Nickel
offered for sale here was carved somewhere between 1937 and 1940 or shortly thereafter
but with that being said I do not know the exact artist who carved it or the exact date that
the item was carved. Please let me know if you have any questions for me.
