Publisher?s green cloth stamped in white on the cover and spine.
Very fine copy. The best copy offered on the Internet. Set up and electrotyped in March 1912. Printed in an edition of about 4300 copies very few opines have survived in this condition without the white ink flaking off. The plates by Pease are present.
Ownership label upper left front fixed fly, shelf label and a small bookshop label affixed to the rear fixed endpaper. These could be removed by a conservationist, (see my photos) I decided to leave them as they are. The last three photos show the book with the removable Mylar protector that?s essential for a book of this caliber.
A very attractive copy of this somewhat scarce Jack London title that consists of six stories about Hawaii. Jack London is best known for ?The Call of The Wild.?
