Vintage Franciscan Earthenware "Moondance" Pattern 6- Piece Place Setting for Four - 24 pieces total plus an additional 12 Piece Plum Amethyst "Madeira" Pattern No. 120 Glassware Set : Total Pieces (36 pieces all together). Vintage Franciscan Earthenware "Moondance" Pattern: The trade name "Franciscan" was used for earthenware produced by Gladding, McBean Co., Los Angeles, CA from 1932-1962. In the latter years 1962-1979 Gladding merged with International Pipe Ceramics which was later named "Interpace". From 1979-1984 Franciscan ware was produced by the Wedgwood-Franciscan (Made in England 1984-approx. 2003) before selling out. Increasingly hard to find full place settings or hostess settings in this pattern anymore. Vintage Tiffin-Franciscan Plum Amethyst "Madeira" Pattern No. 120: In the early years 1966 Tiffin factory was purchased by Continental Can then sold again ti "Interpace" Corp., which is the holding company of Franciscan China. They introduced the casual lead crystal, including the pattern "Madeira" in seven colors which were Olive, Smoke, Citron, Cornsilk, Ice, Plum Blue to coordinate and compliment with the Franciscan earthenware patterns from 1972-76. The crystal produced at Tiffin factory by "Interpace" was called Franciscan. Description: "Moondance" Dinnerware Set PLUS Tiffin-Franciscan Plum Amethyst Madeira Glassware Set.
