Item description
Cirris HV-XHV CH2 Calibration Adapter
PRE OWNED/ GREAT CONDITION
The HV?XHV CH2 calibration adapter is a high?voltage reference fixture used with the Cirris CH2 harness tester when the system is equipped with the optional xHV (extended high?voltage) power supply. It supports verification of dielectric withstand and insulation?resistance performance at the higher AC and DC voltages the CH2/xHV combination can generate.
Purpose
The adapter provides known high?voltage paths and insulation values so the CH2 (with HV or xHV supply) can be checked for correct output voltage, leakage?current limits, ramp behavior, and trip thresholds during calibration or performance checks.
It is intended for users who run hipot/insulation tests at elevated voltages (up to about 1500 VDC and 1000?1500 VAC depending on the CH2/xHV configuration) and must document that the tester?s HV functions remain within specification.
How it is typically used
The HV?XHV adapter connects to the CH2 test interface (or adapter panel system) in place of a normal harness fixture; a dedicated CH2 test program applies defined DWV and IR tests across the adapter?s internal network.
Measured leakage and insulation values are compared to known references; if the readings fall within tolerance, the CH2?s HV/xHV section passes its calibration or performance check, otherwise adjustment or service is required.
