Vintage and used animated mechanical figures may have scratches, scrapes, chips, dings, fading, etc. They may also have been repainted or repaired at some point. I am fully aware of what it takes to repair and restore a vintage or used animated mechanical figure and if the figure has any of these flaws, chances are I am fully aware of this, so pointing out the flaws and what it takes to fix them is not necessary, and pointing them out won?t lower the price any. Now for the description: I am selling a vintage animated mechanical Christmas store display reindeer made by David Hamberger Displays. It is from the Van Deer Christmas Party scene. Based on the black plug in, we believe it was made in the late 1980?s or later. The violin player moves his arm with bow. The heavy duty motor sounds normal and is currently working as shown. The motor or figure do not come with any guarantees since it?s vintage. The deer measures approximately 60? tall. Sold as shown. The standing deers issues are: at some point his motor has been replaced. At that time a large part of his latex torso was removed, so his non moving arm and head are supported only by the frame of the motor box, some areas of light scrapes and marks throughout the body as to be expected from a used animated mechanical figure, no other issues. We have other items for sale. Due to their size and fragile antlers, these are available for local pickup only. Pickup is available from Ada. Oklahoma.
