This is a very nice pair vase that came out of an estate in back country Greenwich. The vases are 11 3/4 inches tall, 5 inches across and marked on the bottom with Vista Alegre's hallmark as well as a crown mark states Manufactura Est. 1824. The vases were meticulously hand painted in the Chinese Export Lowestoft style has a diamond shaped cartouche with a blue bird on a plum branch. The cartouche is painted on the background with russet and gold floral and foliage on a green background. The neck is decorated in russet geometric pattern.  Very good condition with no chips or cracks. The vases are in great condition showing no wear. There are white reflections on the pictures, but the enamel are there. This will be an oversized package that will require careful packaging.

Vista Alegre was founded in the early 1800's by Portuguese industrialist Pinto Basto. Shortly after, it was granted the title of Royal Factory in recognition of its artistic and fine quality wares. Vista Alegre also manufactured pieces for Mottahedeh, a recognized leader in luxury ceramic decorative items and historic designs. They hold the license to many classic designs based on Chinese Export and early European objects and have made pieces for the White House, the State Department and Diplomatic Corps as well as several museums, retailers such as Tiffany & Co. and high end designers such as Christian Lacroix.

Shipping methods: I offer multiple shipping methods. Please do scroll to the shipment page to find out the most optimized shipping method to your area. If you choose the default USPS parcel post, I assume you will be OK for me to upgrade to USPS priority mail or UPS ground at no extra charge.

Shipping Charge: Shipping included delivery confirmation and maybe insurance if final price over $50. Item over $250 includes signature confirmation.

Combined Shipping: Additional item is no extra charge or actual increment of shipping cost if heavy items are combined.

Shipping time: I usually ship on Saturdays. So for some, I ship very quick if paid on Friday, and for those who made payments on a Saturday afternoon after P.O.s close, the shipping handling time could be a week -- that's why I don't list anything on Fridays, so that you have at least 24 hours to pay and I have 24 hours to pack. If you need your treasure shipped right away during the week, I can make arrangements -- please email for options.

Returns: There are enough pictures plus text description to present the item (in my opinion) and to observe genuine auction spirit, no returns accepted unless misrepresented. Please do not hesitate to email with questions if you feel more information is necessary.
