Vintage original 10.25 x 13.25 in. US double-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930's war-themed adventure comedy, GUNGA DIN, released in 1939 by RKO Radio Pictures and directed by George Stevens. Based upon the poem by Rudyard Kipling, in 19th century India, three British soldiers (Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) and a native water-bearer (Sam Jaffe) must stop a secret mass revival of the murderous Thuggee cult before it can rampage across the land.

The image features a close exterior of the water-bearer, Gunga Din (Sam Jaffe), blowing his bugle. Instead of a rubber stamp credit, there is a small RKO paper snipe affixed to the verso regarding the publication of this photograph. It is in fine- condition with random signs of wear around the edges; three sets of staple holes in the bottom border; and a small crease of varying sizes on the corners.
