"Fernleaf" Bamboo
Bambusa Multiplex Fernleaf

20 Value Priced Divisions / Rhizomes / Plants

This listing is for 20 bamboo division.  Basically, this is the propagation process we use when we are creating more inventory to sell.  We take a mature plant and divide the roots into smaller sections, each with at least one cane.  The division may or may not have leaves - we will trim the cane at the 1st or 2nd node and it will be 12 to 18 inches tall.  We have very good success with these divisions survival and we would expect you too as well.

Now, below, more about the Fernleaf bamboo overall.
Bambusa multiplex “Fernleaf” is highly prized as a short, thick, deer-resistant hedge.   The very upright green canes have side growth stems that have densely packed, small green leaves.  This density not only creates a screen but also a sound barrier.

Fernleaf is usually between 8 and 10 feet tall, although reports of 15 feet exist in perfect conditions.  The canes are ½ inch in diameter and are thickly spaced.

Fernleaf is hardy in zones 7b through 11 and in zone 7a, will return from the roots in those years where temperatures reach 0 degrees.   Water requirements are moderate after plant is established.

You will receive a nice one gallon size plant.  Its pot will be removed and packaged with watering gel to ensure it remains moist during transit.

No shipments to ARIZONA or HAWAII.

Your plants are guaranteed to arrive safely and alive.  If you have any issue, please advise within 24 hours of receipt along with a photo of the plant in question and we will work through any problem.
