Asian Lemon Bamboo – Clumping Variety – NON-INVASIVE

This listing is for 10 bamboo division. Basically, a division is result of the propagation process we use when we are creating more inventory to sell. We take a mature plant and divide the roots into smaller sections, each with at least one cane. The division may or may not have leaves - we will trim the cane at the 1st or 2nd node and it will be 9 to 18 inches tall. We have very good success with these divisions survival and we would expect you too as well.

Asian Lemon has striking, canary yellow canes with green stripes.  When the canes are new, they have a pink/peach blush.
Mature size to 25 feet tall and 1 ¾ inch diameter.  Hardy from zones 8 to 11, returning from the roots in zone 7.
Full sun to partial shade and moderate watering after the first year.
The Asian lemon bamboo is a beautiful Chinese bamboo with spectacular colors. This eye-catching species has bright yellow canes with deep green stripes and pink shoots. In its native country, it is highly treasured as an ornamental plant for its beautiful coloration.  Asian Lemon can reach heights up to 25 feet tall with cane diameter up to 1¾ inches. This bamboo is another great example of a good choice for privacy screening. When using this bamboo as a focal point simply trim the lower branches to desired height to show off the thick walled canes.  The Asian Lemon can withstand temperatures down to 24 degrees Fahrenheit and returning from the roots from 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Asian Lemon Bamboo enjoys sun to partial shade and moderate watering after the first year.
